Spokesman of Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) of Northern Sinai Hasan Hijāb denounced the bombing attempt on a church in Rafah, Sinai at dawn yesterday, stressing that his party rejects all kind of aggression against Egyptian citizens regardless of their political, intellectual, or religious affiliation.  

Further, he stressed that Muslims and Copts in northern Sinai live in amity and peace, and there is nothing that would distort this fraternal relationship, explaining that he believes that there is a Zionist scheme to provoke a sectarian strife in an extremely strategic spot of the country, which is Rafah.
