The Coptic organization officially announced that during the conference several people will hold speeches about the Copts ‘situation in Egypt. Among the speakers will be members of the Congress and the Senate, supporters of the Coptic cause, some British and Canadian parliamentarians, former Pentagon and CIA experts as well as representatives of the National Salvation Front.

The Coptic Solidarity announced in its statement that further discussion sessions will be held on June 21 at the Marriott Washington Dulles Airport Hotel. The first U.S. documentary film about the Muslim Brotherhood “Jihad in America: The Grand Deception” by Steven Emerson will be presented. The film has won numerous awards and focuses on the Brotherhood’s penetration in the United States, featuring private documents and recordings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to the organization four prominent political figures, several human rights organizations in Washington, as well as many Egyptian Copts and activist from the United States, Europe, Canada and Egypt will attend the conference.

In another context, the Coptic organizations called for demonstrations in various countries on June 30 in order to support the demonstrators in Egypt in front of the Federal Palace.
