The Maspero Youth Union revealed the final plan of movement for June 30. They will stage four marches that will start from al-Dhāhir and Shubrā, given that they have the largest number of Copts. Further, two marches of political powers will start from the mosques of Sayyidah Zaynab (al-Sayyīdah Zaynab) and Mostafa Mahmoud (Mustafá Mahmūd).
The Coptic Orthodox Church’s lawyer, Ramsīs al-Najār, for his part, said that the Church will not be responsible of any protests on June 30, adding that Copts are participating as Egyptian citizens (Rabāb al-Shazlī, Sarah Hamid, Shirīn ‘Abd al-Sayyīd and Hadīr Subhī, al-Misrīyūn, Jun. 30, p. 3).
