Unidentified armed persons have kidnapped a Coptic doctor, Dr. Subhī Mīlād Sammūr, on his way back from his private clinic located in a village in Qena governorate. Shortly after the incident one of the kidnappers called Dr. Sammūr's family, demanding a ransom of one million pounds for his release. Detectives intensified their efforts to identify the kidnappers and their whereabouts.
