Several of Morsi’s supporters demonstrated in Rābaʽah al-‘Adawīyyah’s square and organized a march claiming that it was organized by Christian citizens. Banners were raised with Morsi’s picture and the sentence: “Christians for Morsī” next to a cross. At the end of the march, they erased the word “Christians” and the cross from the banners, leaving only the words “for Morsi”.
