Major General 'Abd al-'Azīz Qūrah received notification of hundreds of villagers gathering in front of a Muslim’s house following these rumors. Consequently, the security forces managed to control the situation and the investigation revealed that the owner of the burnt house was making bread when the fire from the furnace spread to the front door of the house.  The situation is now calm and reconciliation efforts are underway (Author not mentioned, al-Yawm al-Sābi', Aug. 9). Read original text in Arabic.
