Yesterday, the Council of Ministers asked to resolutely oppose every attempt of disseminating discrimination and diffuse the fitnah among society. Further, the council affirmed its condemnation of every form of violence or incitement that leads to divisions among the citizens. All citizens appealed to take care of the pillars of the national unity.  Sharīf Shāwqī, media advisor of the Council of Ministers, decided to restructure the Supreme Council for Justice and Equality, which founded two years ago but never became active. Its mechanisms for early detection of crisis, rapid intervention, and coordination with security forces in order to facilitate the work of civic society in eliminating sectarian tension will be revised (Nāsir Fāyād, al-Wafd, p. 2).
