The Ministry of Social Solidarity has sent a letter to the President of the Board of Directors of the Muslim Brotherhood to demand his presence before the ministry. The ministry wants to hear his statement, since the MB is charged with political activities and acts of violence in the course of the last days. This hearing accords to NGO law No. 84 from 2002, which states that it is necessary to listen to the president of the board of directors of an organization when violations are attributed to the organization (Mudhat Wahbah, al-Yawm al-Sābi', Aug. 19). Read original text in Arabic.
