Nādir Shūkrī, media spokesman for the Maspero Youth Union and citizen of Asyut, said that the goal of the banners, hung next to the Egyptian flag, is to convey a message to the country and to the whole world: This is the moment for Egyptians to unite against Egypt’s enemy, which is terrorism that does not differeniate between Muslims, Christians, or Jews.
