The hearing session of the civil society organizations in the Social Dialogue subcommittee of the Constituent Assembly has witnessed a disagreement between Najīb Jibrā'īl and Salīb Matta Sawiris, the member of General Union of Associations, concerning the status of Copts in the Constitution. The latter has insisted on discussing Articles 2 and 3 in the Constitution, whereas the former responded that this should not be discussed in this session, which is devoted to civic organizations and not to the Coptic issues.
