Churches across all departments in Egypt have intensified their efforts to encourage Copts of all ages to participate in the siege of the Presidential Palace [Itihādīyah] and to call for the fall of President Muhammad Mursī. During a sermon on Wednesday (January 23) morning, dioceses’ bishops talked about the necessary fall of President Mursī.

Priests from different churches are stressing the necessity of participating in the sit-in in front the presidential palace. They are determined it will be the last battle for the fall of Mursī. There are three different marches headed to the Presidential Palace calling for social justice and the fall of the Constitution.
