‘Amr Mūsá, the head of the Constituent Assembly, has held a closed meeting with the representatives of Al-Azhar, the Church, the Nūr Party, and revolutionary youth. This is in order to reach a common agreement on the articles of contention in the Constitution. The meeting will discuss Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, and 219, in addition to the article proposed by the Churches’ representatives defining the Council of Churches (Walā’ Ni’mah and Hibā Amīn, al-Watan, Oct. 16, p. 3). Read original text in Arabic.
