The fact-finding committee in the New World Organization for Development has assured that the Christians in al-Warrāq have refused to blame Muslims for the attack. This is because there are no conflicts between the two communities or any revenge crimes. The fact-finding committee stated that the attack against the church is a continuation of the attacks against the state’s institutions and the churches of Upper Egypt.
