Bishop Markos, the Bishop of Shubra al-Khāymah, stated that there are no weapons in the churches as has been widely disseminated. He said that they depend on God’s protection of the churches and the people.  He argued that they cannot hold the security forces responsible for all that is happening currently. He stated that, for example, the Warrāq incident was committed by two people on a motorbike. What could the security personnel have done to them?
