Dr. Sha’bān ‘Abdul ‘Alīm, member of the presidential council of the Nūr Party, stated that they refuse the requests of the representatives of the Church in the Constituent Assembly concerning the Coptic quota. He said that it will divide the country and stressed that according to the Constitution, the Egyptian citizens are equal and that there is no discrimination based color, religion or political orientation.
