Security forces in al-Minya have received a complaint from the injured and arrested two Christians involved in the events. Bishop Yu’nas Shawqī, the caretaker of the Virgin Mary and Bishop Abram Church, stated that he was informed that houses of Copts were being burnt. Witnesses stated that clashes were renewed yesterday between Copts and Muslims and that a number of Muslims have formed human shields to protect the church in the village and houses of Copts.  This followed a protest that included tens of angry Muslims who threw Molotov cocktails at the house of a Coptic man named Bishry Akladios (Islām Fahmī, al-Watan, Nov. 30, p. 1). Read original text in Arabic.
