The Swedish artist, Lars Vilks, said that he is going to show his new paintings offending the Prophet Muhammad at an exhibition in the city of Malmo, Sweden. Vilks has received death threats since his paintings, along with an article about the importance of freedom of speech, appeared in the Swedish daily newspaper Nerikes Allehanda in 2007. He additionally stated the importance in continuing.
