The Synod also approved the formation of a new sub-committee, called The Subcommittee of Theological Institutes Abroad that stems from the Committee of Migrants affairs. Another decision was that the priests are not allowed to move from a diocese to another, or abroad without the approval of the respective bishop and the Pope. The Synod assured that the priest is not allowed to send his wife to live away from his area of service, as this threatens the family of the priest. The Synod has documented the occasions of the apparition of Virgin Mary and also recognized the Monastery of Saint Markius of Alexandria located in the proximity of Beheira Diocese (Peter Magdī, al- Tahrīr, June 7, p. 20).
