Followers of Shaykh Abū Isāc al-Huwaynī, the Salafī preacher, have published a video for him calling on the Islamists to withdraw from political work and start preaching. The Nūr Party stated that the National Alliance in Support for Legitimacy has broken their promises to the Salafī Shaykhs, such as Muhmmad Hassān to prepare for a reconciliation before the dispersal of al-Nahdah and Rāba’ah sit- ins (Sa’īd Higāzi, al-Watan, Jan. 17, p. 3).
