The NCHR is holding today a workshop for civil associations to discuss the draft laws of civil associations. This will be attended by the Minister of Social Solidarity Ghādah Wāly and the head of the Civil and Political Rights Committee George ‘Ishāq. The head of the Egyptian organization of Human Rights Hāfiz ‘Abū Si’dah stated that the draft law that was produced during the last Minister Ahmad al- Bura’ī in 2013 was the best produced by the civil associations and representatives of the government (Lailá ‘Abd al- Bāsit, al- Shurūq, Aug. 24, p. 4).
