Leaders in the Nūr party confessed to having contacts with former NDP members in order to convince them to put their names on the Nūr electoral lists. They also stated that Nūr party rejects the idea of political exclusion. The secretary of the Nūr Party in Sharkia, ‘Ayman al- Bagūry, stated that Nūr party is in contact with all political forces including the former NDP members, in order to prepare for the coming parliamentary elections, and urge them to run on Nūr party lists. The Salafī party is facing trouble finding Copts and women on its electoral lists, in accordance to the parliamentary elections law (Kāmil Kāmil, al- Yawm al- Sābi’, Sep. 27, p.6).
