Alexandria’s public library released a book titled “The Progress of Women in the World.” The release corresponds to a public event hosted at the library led by women workers, representatives of the local government, and university students. The speakers will report their views on the situation for women around the world including the employment opportunities available to them. Specifically, the discussion will focus on development and the factors behind the absence of women in the Egyptian labor market.
