Law Combats Illegal Immigration

 The Egyptian Union for Human Rights confirmed on Saturday that a new draft law to combat illegal immigration in Egypt was presented to the President and Prime Minister. Notably, the new law considers even a failed attempt to immigrate illegally into Egypt, through tunnels or via an overland trail, for example, as a crime punishable by law even if the person does not officially enter the country.
