Attorney General’s Office confiscates “Freedom Walls” for unclear reasons

 The book publisher Dār al-Tanwīr released a report explaining the controversy surrounding the book “Freedom Walls” written by Doctor Sumīr Mahmūd. Alexandria’s Attorney General’s Office confiscated copies of the book last July in order to review and confirm that it does not contain material insulting the Egyptian police despite the fact that the book was previously circulated throughout Egypt by the American University in Cairo and public libraries.
