Conference in Paris supports Sīsī’s call for a religious revolution to rid Islam of extremism

 Participants in a conference called “Religious Extremism and Terrorist Organizations” expressed their support and appreciation for President Sīsī’s call for a religious revolution to rid Islam of extremism. The conference participants also said that there is an urgent need for the leaders of Islamic organizations to revitalize and infuse religious rhetoric with balance and tolerance in order to distance themselves from extremism and radicalism.
