‘Alā’ ‘Abd al-Tawāb, the director for the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights, spoke about a recent sentence from the high administrative court which allows the automatic transfer of employees participating in a strike to early retirement. He added that the ruling violates the constitution as well as international treaties that Egypt is a signatory to.
