The National Center for Human Rights is releasing its annual report in which it reviews the current status of human rights in Egypt. Hāfiz Abū Si’da, member of the center, said the report found improvement in social and economic rights. The government has begun projects in health insurance and public housing and created new jobs through those projects. However, he said the report criticizes the use and duration of precautionary imprisonments.
