A group of students attending Cairo University’s College of Media, Department of Film and Television have finished the production of the first documentary film about Monks and Nuns in Egypt. The students visited several monasteries and convents in the making of the film. Ibrāhīm Māhir, a member of the film’s project team, said that they had overcome many obstacles and problems in order to “reveal the secrets of the Monastic Order which few know.”
