Prime Minister Ibrāhīm Mahlab invited to St. George [Mari Girgis] Church

 Pope Theodore II, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Egypt and all of Africa, met with Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrāhīm Mahlab. Mahlab had previously taken an interest in the renovation of St. George’s Church [Mari Girgis] in Old Cairo which was re-opened last month. Pope Theodore expressed his disappointment that Mahlab was not able to attend the opening ceremony but extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to visit the church.
