Al-Āhrām publishes human rights recommendations for the government: Programs aimed at assisting the poor and unemployed by improving education and health must intensify

In recommendations to the Egyptian President and the President of the Council of Ministers, the Egyptian Council on Human Rights has called for greater emphasis on programs assisting the poor and unemployed. They have also recommended increases in the education budget and the creation of a body to oversee drug safety and healthcare. The Council sees these measures as a vital component of the Five-Year plan to improve Human Rights in Egypt.
