A number of Coptic Christian organizations for Personal Status Laws are convening a meeting in the next several days to respond to Pope Tawadros’ recent statement criticizing those organizations. Ishāq Fransīs, the general coordinator for a Coptic organization for Personal Status Laws, said that the meeting is being held to collect signatures from Christians calling for a withdrawl of trust from Pope Tawadros.
