Egyptian Prosecutor General Office to hand 187 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood to military justice

 The Egyptian Prosecutor General handed 187 individuals to the Military Court. They are allegedly supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood accused of killing police officials during the 2013 attack to a police station. The Prosecutor General also expanded the judiciary powers of the Egyptian military courts in order to allow them to try civilians for acts ranging from attacks on State establishments to robbery. This change came after a series of violent attacks on security forces after the army deposed former President Mursī.
