Hasha̅m Badr: Commission on Human Rights has begun implementing Egypt’s international commitments   

Speaking in front of the Council on Human Rights at the United Nations, Hasha̅m Badr, the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Relations, confirmed that the Egyptian Commission on Human Rights is implementing Egypt’s international commitment to human rights. The government has begun this process by implementing its recommendations on two fronts. First, by sending these recommendations to all ministries within the scope of the recommendations and second, by preparing special proposals for the development of legislation and a study meant to combat reservations about the proposals, which will be presented to Parliament next session.
