Patriarchs and heads of churches in Jerusalem have condemned forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. In response to the recent statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump, patriarchs and church leaders in Jerusalem have called to stand against the plans for the mass displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and stressed the importance of supporting the positions already adopted by King ‘Abdallah II of Jordan, President ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ al-Sīsī of Egypt, and other leaders who have firmly rejected any attempt to displace Gazans from their land.
