Background:
The Coptic Orthodox Church is the largest Christian Church in Egypt. According to tradition, the Church was established by Saint Mark, the Apostle. It belongs to the Oriental Orthodox family of Churches. It took a different position over Christology from that of the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. The church is based in Egypt but has a worldwide following.
Speaking on its behalf is Metropolitan Bīshūy. He is the Coptic Orthodox Metropolitan of Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh and the Monastery of Saint Demiana (for nuns), Barrari, Belqas, Egypt. He has also served as secretary of the Coptic Orthodox Holy Synod since 1985.

Side A:
Metropolitan Bīshūy speaks on behalf of the Coptic Orthodox Church and thinks it is a good thing that churches are coming together to speak. As an example of one of the benefits of the establishment of these relations, is that people from the Greek Orthodox Church are now welcome in the Coptic Orthodox Church. A prayer follows.
Answering the question why the visit of the Holy Family to Egypt was so important, Bīshūy says that the visit was a sign that Jesus Christ did not only come to the land of Israël, but for the rest of the world as well. He also thinks that the Coptic Orthodox Church has an important role to play to convert the Jews. He also hope more people will come to Egypt to visit the places Jesus Christ visited. He also comments on the journey the Holy Family took.
Side B:
The interview continues and Bīshūy says that the places that have been visited by the Holy Family are holy to them, but he does not know if Dayr al-Muharraq has been called the second Jerusalem, but it is special because of the altar that is there, and refers to the prophesy of Isaiah 19 about Egypt.
