Pope Tawāḍrūs II, pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, is holding Christmas mass Monday evening at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ [Mīlād al-Masīḥ] in the New Administrative Capital for the third year in a row with President ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ al-Sīsī attending as well as a number of officials, ministers, senior statesmen, and public figures.  The Coptic Orthodox Church said it gave out 2,500 invitations for Church goers and officials.  There is no entry into the mass without an invitation.
