ʿAbd al-Rahman YŪsIf, (son of the Islamic Missionary Yusūf al-Qardāwī) as well as other members of the Muslim Brotherhood attacked the Egyptian President ʿAbd al-Fatāh al-Sīsī, holding him responsible for the killing of 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya at the hands of ISIS. Yusūf said in a comment on his Facebook page, "We offer our condolences regarding the assassination of 21 Egyptians at the hands of a misguided and criminal sect which thinks that it can become closer to God through the killing of innocents…and shame on the insane [Egyptian] government which did not concern itself with the kidnapped Egyptians. The kidnapped became a political tool because of Egypt’s intervention in an internal issue which does not concern it."
