The National Women’s Council convened a conference on Sunday, with the support of the Ministry of the Interior, dedicated to raising women’s awareness of sexual violence. The conference, part of an initiative organized by the National Women’s Council, is called “Safe Cities Free from Violence against Women.” According to Munā Khalīl, one of the council’s directors, the conference is focused on casting light on the dangers that women in unstable regions face in public places.
