The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt grants their detainees the freedom to reconcile with the regime

  A source with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s judicial council confirmed that the Brotherhood has given its currently detained members the freedom to sign reconciliation pacts with the regime. The source, who declined to be identified, said that they would be able to sign an agreement provided that they reject violence and refrain from participating in street protests. The source also reported that a very small number of detainees who do not really belong to the Muslim Brotherhood have agreed to sign the contract, while real members are pressured by other members to not sign any compromise with the regime.
