Urgently needed native English speaking teachers of English in Port Said.

 

These are vacancies of the PLC Center which belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Port Said. The center serves the entire community, Muslims and Christians. The purpose of the center is to educate Egyptian youth to acquire a good level of English and develop personal skills to enable them to compete with job market requirements. Since youth unemployment is so large in Egypt, this is a tremendously important service.

 

The center offers summer courses between May and September for children to raise their language proficiency. Besides this the center runs an English club for children, offering them assistance to practice their English through songs, games and one to one conversations. They pay around 4800-5000 EgP monthly and takes care of good accommodation. This is definitely sufficient to cover all costs of living and traveling in Egypt. Port Said is a beautiful Egyptian city on the Mediterranean sea. It is also a peaceful city. The diocese is led by His Grace Bishop Tadros whom I have known for decades. This is certainly an excellent opportunity to get to know Egypt.
