Prominent Coptic figures in Egypt have denounced the claims of American interference in the internal affairs of Egypt, which they consider an act of aggression against national sovereignty. In this article, prominent Copts reject the report of the American State Department which claims that Copts are exposed to religious and racial persecution and discrimination. El- Shaab conducted a study among Copts, clarifying that the Copts of Egypt are aware that America has never intended to defend them, but wants to impose its policy and supremacy on the Arab region and to help Israel to widen its circle of colonization.
