Dr. Abdel Sabour Shahin, a prominent Islamic scholar and professor at the Faculty of Dar Al-’Aloum, Cairo University, called for support of Kosovo Muslims to relieve them from injustice and oppression that they currently face. Citing the Prophet’s: "The Muslim’s brother is a Muslim," he affirmed that relieving Kosovo Muslims is a religious obligation.
Father Ibrahim Abd Al-Masih Abd Al-Sayyed, Patron of the Coptic Orthodox Church at Mar Girgis, brought attention to the need to stand beside the Kosovo Muslims to relieve their suffering from injustice and the oppression of the Serbs.
