For four years, 22-year-old Hani was haunted by a devilish desire to kill his sister for bringing disgrace on his Upper Egyptian family. He finally mustered his guts, and kept banging her head until she was dead. The crime was committed in the presence of the father, who remained silent in tacit acceptance.
