Sheikh Al-Sayyed Al-Qubeisi, head of the Union of Imams and the sheikh of Abu El-Ela’s mosque relates how when in Holland during the month of Ramadan, he noticed Moroccan Muslims. Instead of giving religious lectures, they buy buildings and convert them into mosques. When he offered his co-operation he received this answer: "You scholars of Al-Azhar gave us the science and knowledge [of Islam]. Now, it is our turn to practice in Holland what we have learned from you in Egypt, the country of Al-Azhar."
