Islamic scholars and intellectuals refuted the opinions of Dr. Gabir Asfour concerning the cases Aqidaty discussed with him in its last issue. They confirmed that the Qur’an is a holy text and, according to the Qur’an, the hejab is an Islamic obligation and not a tradition that was confined to the wives of the Prophet. They pointed out that he mixed up the European image of the religious state with the Islamic state. Moreover, they confirmed that islamizing sciences is a distinguished fact and not a heresy.
