The Personal Status Law is still the focus of discussions among people. In spite of the fact that this law is important for society, some jurists consider it a game where everybody can talk and show off their fields of knowledge... Dr. Abdel-Fatah Al-Sheikh, the former president of the Azhar University, confirmed his approval of the new law by saying that the new law solved many problems, but there are three articles, which contradict the Islamic Shari’a texts.
