Next Monday the Personal Status Court will look at the lawsuit that aims to separate Dr. Nawal Al-Sa’adawi from her husband. The lawyer who started the lawsuit accuses Sa’adawi of defaming religions and claims she has left Islam. In her opinion the lawsuit is not legal as the State Prosecution could not find any solid crime. Her husband said he would not leave her even if the court decides to separate them.
