Political terrorism has spread on an international level, but it is relatively recent in Egypt and not widespread due to the tolerant and religious Egyptian nature. It is true that Egypt witnessed many terrorist activities, still terrorism in Egypt has been remarkably restrained, due to the interconnection of official efforts, to recognizing the elements participating in terrorist operations and the objectives related thereto.
