The French authorities detained an Algerian-Frenchman coming back from Afghanistan to France. The man was supposed to give the signal to bomb the American embassy in Paris. He did not hide any information during the police investigations. His confessions gave the French authorities an idea about the way Usama Bin Laden works, the attacks of September 11 and about the forms of probable attacks in the future.
