The Imam of the Islamic Center in Los Angeles said that the hatred campaign against Muslims and Arabs would continue for a while because the media mobilized Americans’ feelings against Arabs and Muslims. Still, this hatred campaign was met with a sympathy campaign on the part of the churches in America. He added that in the Islamic center they received many phone calls and e-mails asking for copies of the Qur’an and for books explaining the reality of Islam.
